Privacy Policy

Nubian Beats is an independent music and technology platform: a public catalogue, listening experience, optional accounts, and related products such as River Player. The Service is operated by Camiss Productions.

We collect only what we need to run the Service. Depending on how you use Nubian Beats, that may include:

• Account information. Email address, display name, and a unique user identifier. If you create an account with email and password, we store a hashed password through our authentication provider. We do not see your raw password.
• Google Sign-In information. If you choose "Continue with Google", Google authenticates you and shares with us the information you authorize, typically your Google account email address, name, and public profile image. We use this solely to create or sign in to your Nubian Beats account. We do not request access to your Gmail, Drive, contacts, or other Google products.
• Content you submit. Audio files, artwork, and release metadata if you upload to the archive (typically administrators). Audio masters are stored privately; artwork may be published with a release.
• Listening and engagement. Playback events (such as when a listen qualifies, completes, or is skipped), Resonate reactions, and share attempts, tied to your account or to an anonymous browser identifier stored locally.
• Device and session data. Authentication cookies or local storage needed to keep you signed in, player position, optional audio cache on your device, and basic technical logs (for example IP address, browser type, and timestamps) generated by our hosting providers.

You may use much of the public catalogue without creating an account. Signing in is required for dashboard, upload, and other authenticated features.

Google user data received through Sign-In is used only to authenticate you and operate your Nubian Beats account: to identify you on return visits, display your name or email where the Service needs an account label, and send essential account messages (for example sign-in confirmation) when required.

We do not:

• sell Google user data;
• use Google user data for advertising or advertising profiling;
• share Google user data with third parties for their own marketing;
• allow humans to read Google user data except as needed to provide the Service, fix issues you raise, secure the Service, or comply with law.

Our use of information received from Google APIs complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

We use the information described above to:

• provide, maintain, and improve the catalogue, player, and related features;
• count qualified plays and other engagement in aggregate and for operators of the archive;
• store and publish releases you are authorized to upload;
• protect the Service against abuse and diagnose technical problems;
• comply with legal obligations.

We use infrastructure providers to host the Service. They process data on our instructions and may include:

• Google — Sign-In (if you choose that method);
• Supabase — authentication, database, and file storage;
• Lovable Cloud and Cloudflare — application hosting and delivery.

We do not sell personal information. We may disclose information if required by law, to protect the Service or our users, or in connection with a reorganization of Camiss Productions, provided the recipient is bound to protect the information consistently with this policy.

We use essential cookies and browser storage to keep you signed in and to remember player state. An anonymous listener identifier may be stored locally so Resonate and similar features can work without an account. Clearing site data in your browser removes that identifier. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

Account information is kept while your account is active. Playback and engagement records are kept to operate archive metrics. Uploaded files remain until an authorized operator deletes them or you successfully request deletion of content you control. Technical logs are retained only as long as needed for security and operations.

You may:

• use the public catalogue without signing in;
• sign in with email or with Google, or disconnect Google Sign-In via your Google account;
• sign out from the Service;
• request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold by emailing privacy@nubianbeats.com.

If you signed in with Google, you can also review and revoke Nubian Beats' access in your Google Account permissions.

The Service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

We use industry-standard measures such as encrypted transport (HTTPS) and access controls on private audio storage. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

The Service is offered from servers that may be located outside your country. By using Nubian Beats you understand that your information may be processed in those locations with appropriate safeguards from our providers.

We may update this policy as the Service evolves. The effective date above shows the latest revision. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
