Terms of Service

Nubian Beats is an independent music and technology platform. It may include a public catalogue, streaming previews, an on-site player, optional accounts, upload and archive tools for authorized operators, and links to other Nubian Beats products such as River Player.

Features marked as coming soon (including paid downloads, licensing checkout, and membership billing) are described for context and are not a present offer until we enable them.

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

You may sign in with an email address and password or with Google Sign-In. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials confidential.

When you use Google Sign-In, Google authenticates you and we receive the account details you authorize (typically email, name, and profile image) so we can create or open your Nubian Beats account. Your use of Google is also subject to Google's terms and privacy policy.

We may suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms, appear compromised, or are used to harm the Service or other people.

Public pages let you browse and stream catalogue audio as we make it available. Streaming is for personal, non-commercial listening unless we grant a separate license. You may not copy, redistribute, scrape, or commercially exploit catalogue audio, artwork, or metadata except as allowed by law or a written license from us.

We may change, pause, or remove catalogue items. Playback quality, availability, and background or lock-screen behavior depend on your device and browser.

If you upload audio, artwork, or text, you must have the rights to do so. You grant Camiss Productions a worldwide, non-exclusive license to store, process, and (where you or an administrator publish it) display that content as part of the Service.

You retain ownership of your original content. We may refuse or remove uploads that appear unlawful, infringing, or inconsistent with the archive.

You agree not to:

• interfere with or disrupt the Service, its hosts, or other users;
• attempt to access accounts, files, or data that are not yours;
• circumvent technical limits, signed URLs, or access controls;
• use automated means to scrape or overload the Service without permission;
• misrepresent your identity or the source of content you submit;
• use the Service for unlawful activity.

The Nubian Beats name, site design, catalogue recordings, artwork, and related materials are owned by Camiss Productions or its licensors. These Terms do not transfer ownership to you.

Sign-In, hosting, and storage are provided in part by third parties (including Google, Supabase, Lovable Cloud, and Cloudflare). Those services have their own terms. Links to other sites, including River Player materials, are not under our control once you leave the Service.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation, or that catalogue metadata is complete. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Camiss Productions and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our aggregate liability for claims relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim (if any) or fifty US dollars.

We may update these Terms by posting a new version on this page. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
